BEFORE CONSTRUCTION

Drafting Solutions was consulted to design and draft a new carport at 623 North Kalaheo Ave in Kailua, Hawaii in August of 2007.  The scope of work included the design of a 425 square foot wood framed carport with a new tool room and half bath.       

DURING CONSTRUCTION

Construction was initiated once the permit was closed out and the carport was built within 8 weeks.  The homeowner had requested a wider carport with a new concrete driveway foundation. The new carport also consisted of a pull-down ladder to be able to access ceiling storage space above.  Horizontal vinyl siding and composition shingle roofing were also added upon the owner's request.            

AFTER CONSTRUCTION

Construction on the carport was completed in the first weeks of November 2007.  Drafting Solutions enjoyed working with the homeowner to help them design and draft their new carport.
